Is Maken only for builders and cabinet makers?
No. While we manufacture trade-quality cabinets for cabinet makers and builders, DIY renovators and homeowners are also welcome to sign up and order high-quality cabinets for personal projects.
How does online ordering work?
You start by creating a new job in the system.
Enter your job name, reference code, contact number and optional description.
Choose pickup or delivery, then create the job to receive a unique job number — this becomes your reference for all communication.
If you need help, click the chat icon to speak with support.
I signed up but didn’t receive my password — what now?
Check your Spam/Junk folder.
If it’s not there, use the password reset option with the same email you signed up with — you’ll receive a new password shortly.
What if I need a rapid turnaround?
Select from our range of stocked boards — these are always available. Jobs using stocked boards can often be completed in as little as 3–4 days (sometimes even faster).
How accurate is your cutting?
We use CNC machining to ensure perfectly accurate cabinet cutting.
Accurate measurements lead to perfect cabinets — our guides explain how to measure correctly so everything fits during installation.
Is it easy to assemble my own cabinets?
Yes. We provide comprehensive guides, video tutorials and step-by-step instructions, suitable for both professionals and DIY renovators. are also being added soon.
Can I order specialised cabinet products?
Once you sign up, you can access a large library of cabinetry products.
Each product is customisable, and you can submit variation requests.
If something you need isn’t in the catalogue, contact the team for guidance.
How do I create an account and start designing?
Click “Sign Up” and enter your details.
Once registered, you can use the full design and ordering system.
Can I save templates to reuse for multiple jobs?
Yes — you can duplicate layouts for new jobs without redrawing them.
What services do you provide?
CNC board cutting, edgebanding, flat-pack cabinetry, hardware supply, and some custom cabinetry by request.
A 3D design service with onsite measure and professional plans is also available.
Do you make everything locally?
Yes — all cutting, edging and assembly are done in our factory located South Windsor.
What materials do you use?
We use high-quality Australian-made boards such as HMR particleboard and offer finishes like melamine or polyurethane. All materials are Moisture Resistant and selected for durability and premium finish.

Can I get benchtops through you?
Yes. We supply EGGER benchtops manufactured using genuine high-pressure laminate (HPL). They are resistant to stains, burns, UV light, heat, steam and impact, and come in multiple decor options. Excess length is cut to suit your base cabinets.
I’ve forgotten my password — what do I do?
Simply reset your password by entering the email you signed up with. You’ll receive a new password to log back in.
What is the timeframe on my order?
Most orders have a lead time of 7–10 business days, depending on the size and complexity of the job.
Do you assemble cabinets?
We supply flat-pack cabinetry and also offer an assembly service.
Is your online ordering system only for trades?
The system is designed for cabinet makers, trade professionals and builders.
However, DIY customers are welcome to sign up and use it for personal projects.
Are your products Australian-made?
Yes. We use high-quality Australian-made board and manufacture everything locally — cutting, edging and assembly.
What’s the fastest way to get an accurate quote?
Use the online portal to customise sizes, colours and finishes — pricing updates in real time.
Can I save my design and return to it later?
Yes. All designs can be saved and edited at any time.
Do you work on areas other than kitchens?
Yes. Maken also works on laundries, wardrobes, TV units, storage, custom cabinetry and other residential or commercial joinery.
Do you check measure?
No. We manufacture based on the measurements you provide.
We do not visit sites.
Measuring is easy — call us if you need help, or your installer can check the measure for you.
Can I pick up my order?
Yes. Once your order is ready, you’ll be notified.
Pickup is available Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm.
Contact the team to confirm a pickup time.
Do your cabinets come with hardware?
Yes. Flatpacks include high-quality Blum hinges and Hafele Drawer runners.
Panels are pre-drilled specifically for hinges and drawers.
